Buffet Breakfast @ Conrad Hotel

There was a complimentary breakfast at the Oscar after a night stay at Conrad hotel. Upon stepping in, the impression was unforgettable. The food display was of a high standard and the staff service was excellent. The variety of the food was good enough for me. I had a couple of serving for the cured meat and pastries. 

I definitely enjoyed my stay there and the breakfast too. 

hoshigaoka @ woodland civic centre

A visit to this new Japanese restaurant for lunch on one of the Saturday  I ordered a chicken don, grilled beef and a salmon set meal and a macha ice cream for dessert. The food was pretty decent and the service was good. visit the restaurant for some nice Japanese food.

Bosses @ Vivocity

I found another good place for dim sum, Bosses at vivocity. The decoration of the restaurant was very nice, black as their main colour. Their dim sum was very tasty and ingredients used were of high quality. The price is a bit high but is definitely worth the money. 

Some must try dishes: chee cheong fun (prawn), XO carrot cake and 流沙包. 

Xmas Celebration @ Todai MBS

Visited Todai at Marina Bay sand for an international dinner buffet. There were a lot of variety ranging from seafood on the rock, appetisers, japanese sashimi, bbq items, cooked food and most importantly desserts.   The King Crab and snow crab were my favourite and there were oysters and sashimi too. Queues were always spotted at this section. I can say just these cold seafood will be enough to fill my stomach, let alone other cooked items.  I am too full to eat the assorted sushi which look tasty to me.

Recommend to try: mushroom sauce with escargot (French cuisine) If you never eat before, give it a try.

King crab, Beef rib and the bbq items were good too.

Lai Lai Casual Dining @ Jurong Point

I visited Lai Lai for the first time for their famous beef noodle. I was not disapppointed at all. It was really good. We ordered other side dishes as well like intestine and fried egg plant with pork floss. They have very good braised rice. I shall tried it next time. The drinks were also tasty. If you like to have a bowl of hot beef noodle, give it a try for Lai Lai casual dining at Jurong point. 

Chicken House @ Thomson Road

We had a lunch at the chicken rice shop along the street of thomson road. It was called Chicken house with a crab green logo. The rice was fragrant together with the smooth and silky chicken. Nice! There was another good chicken shop called Wee Nam Kee which is good as well.

Itacho Sushi

It been a while since my last post. Been busy with many things in my life.

I am going to recommend this Japanese restaurant which really good sushi, Itacho Sushi. I had been there about 3 times and every visit I would ordered a few new sushi off the menu. Their sushi and sashimi were very fresh. Sometimes, during special hours, the sushi going offer at a much lower price. Must try: Scallop sushi (very sweet) and tuna sushi. Below pictures were the sushi I had so far. Definitely going back for more and is worth it. There are quite a few outlet in town so is quite convenient.  Go early to avoid long queue during peak hours.
