Avanti Expresso @ robertson quay

June BB bought a voucher for 2 to enjoy pancakes deal. It took us a while to search the cafe along the stretch of the robertson quay. When we reach the place, it is a simple cafe. We ordered the stated pancake on the voucher. Mine is chocolate banana pancake while June BB ordered chocolate chip pancake. The pancake is soft and normal. They do sell other kind of foods, if can i will go back to give it another try. 

Forty Hands @ 78 Yong Siak street

When we talk about nice cafe, many people will think of tiong bahru. The one I visited is among the popular cafe in singapore, forty hands cafe. After my light dinner, I drove to search for the cafe. After walking around the area,  finally I saw the cafe in delight. A old vintage style cafe located in a small corner of the shop houses. We ordered one latte art, carrot cake, chocolate tart and earl grey tea. The chocolate tart was impressive and the latte art was very well made (the design of a bear). The carrot cake is a bit too much towards the end. As usual, the pot of tea is soothing after all the sweet pastries. Recommend to chill after dinner with friends!

De la Creme Cafe @ Siglap drive

Went for cafe hunting on a couple of weeks back. Going to recommend this place called De La Creme at 42 siglap drive S456167. I already post before the macarons I had from there. This time round, I decided to try something new: Mango shortcake. One words: Marvellous! The Mango shortcake is so nice and the mango is sweet, definitely a must try. Next recommendation on the list will be their macarons which melt in the mouth and having some interesting flavours like salted egg with seasalt and pandan. My first time trying their lemon meringue tart. It was very well done and personally I like the refreshing taste of the tart. Had a pot of chamomile dream tea from (gryphon tea company) to go along with the pastries. The place will not be packed with a lot of people so it will be a good place to hang out with friends after dinner.
