The Landing Point @ Fullerton Bay Hotel

I have a sweet tooth so I am always irresistible to dessert. I wish I can have afternoon tea everyday but I know is impossible at the moment as I had to work. However, I will try to have afternoon tea at different place if I have the time and definitely with my afternoon tea kaki, my dear wife. She can also enjoy the different tea from the menu. She is a tea lover. Here we are at The Landing Point. The pastry is served in a 3-tier tray. There are sandwiches, lemon tart, chocolate éclair, kueh lapis, mini burger, creme brulee, chocolate tart and many more. I love the Creme brulee, mini burger, salmon baguette and chocolate tart. You can request a second serving depend on your liking. If I am not wrong, you can try the tea unlimited time from the menu so I tried 2 pot of tea and one iced lemon tea. The sofa and chair with nice cushion were very comfortable. It is definitely an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon having nice food and companion. Thumb up!

Plaza Brasserie@ Park Royal hotel

This post was also from last year Xmas team dinner. We went to Plaza Brasserie @ park royal hotel around Bugis area. My first time there and I am not disappointed with the variety and taste of the festive buffet spread. Let start from the seafood on ice: There are oysters, prawns and scallops and is fresh and good. Next, Japanese assorted sushi, fresh sashimi of salmon, tuna and octopus. Roasted section, there are roast pork belly, chicken and duck. As it is during festive season, we have turkey, sausages, pork collar and roasted beef with different sauce. At the live station, there is seafood noodle with abalone slice. As for the cooked food spread, most impressive was the sea cucumber. It was huge and soft and tender. very nice. There are salad and cheese section which normally I will hardly walk there so apologise for no picture. As for the dessert, I had crepe with kaya and peanut butter with chocolate syrup topping. I am too full for other dessert so only had the crepe to finish off my dinner. Highly Recommended to try.

stefanie sun concert 2014

This is one of the most anticipating concert for year 2014 that I had attended. The though of watching Sun Yan Zi concert at SportsHub for the first time make me feel super excited. Prior to this, Jay chou was going to be first but she announce an earlier date. Anyway, she had a nice vocal and some of the songs and medley during the concert bring back fond memories of the poly days. Although toward the end, her voice started to give her problem but she manage to complete it. Brilliant performance by our home grown star.

Artisan Boulangerie Co @ Vivocity

Recently, I have been really really slow in updating my blog. Been occupied with many stuff in my life. I will try to update as frequent as possible. So, this time round I will recommend a cafe, artisan boulangerie co, which serves some good pastry and breakfast. I had breakfast at their Vivo city branch and I ordered Big breakfast and smoked salmon quiche. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they have nice comfortable sofa. Nice place to chill out during weekend. Technically speaking, I had tried almost all the pastry from the picture below. My favourite will be their pear and almond tart and sweet ricotta croissant. The rest of the tart and eclairs were quite decent, thus I will do some takeaway for my families if possible. Look out for in house  promotion during late night order (around 9pm onwards) for their pastry and dessert. There are total 7 outlets in Singapore so give it a try and their staff is friendly as well.
