brizo restaurant @ park hotel clarke quay

Here we are at the Brizo restaurant @ Park Hotel Clarke Quay. We were there on a weekday having a semi buffet dinner. We ordered a steak and a lobster pasta as mains and enjoyed the buffet. The buffet spread consist of seafood oysters, mussels and scallops. There were some fruit and potato salad and other variety salad. Salmon sashimi and some nice starters. There were grilled sausages and satays. Ice cream and cakes were also available. To be honest, I felt the buffet spread were much better than the mains. Nonetheless I still enjoyed the dinner and I will try their seafood buffet during weekend in the future.

Insadong Korea town @ Resort world Sentosa

My family outing at Resort World Sentosa. I brought them to enjoy the scenery and to dine at a new korea concept eatery named Insadong. We ordered ginseng chicken soup, seafood pancake, topokki, fried chicken, iberico pork ribs  and the famous Jipangyi J shaped ice cream. The food was pretty good. There are still many korean dishes to try in the eatery such as dumplings or hotpot. If you happened to visit RWS and has some cravings for korean food, do visit and give it a try.

Dancing Crab @ Turf City

I am a seafood lover constantly looking for new seafood restaurant and trying out different style of cooking . So this post I am recommending is Dancing Crab restaurant. Currently, there are two outlets. One at Turf city and another newly opened at Orchard Central. The one I went to was at Turf city. Reservation is highly recommended as the table is always full. The special part is there are no plate so the cooked seafood was pour onto the table and we used our hand to feast. We ordered combo bag 1 in their signature sauce, 2 dungeness crab cooked in garlic and creamy butter style, lobster roll, truffle fries and crab cake. Honestly, I really loved the crab cake and dungeness crab. My first time eating dungeness crab and their meat were sweet and juicy. Crab cake were crispy and the filling was nice. Truffle fries were good and smell good. I find the signature sauce a bit too spicy for me but do note that my level of tolerant for spicy is low. I find it fun to use hand to eat the seafood on the table and there are apron ready for you to use in case the spilled sauce. Lobster meat in between bread was just a perfect combination. Totally enjoyed the meal. Thumb up.

Nakhon Kitchen @ Yishun block 233

Nakhon Kitchen had many branches in Singapore. The reason why it is so popular is because of the price and the taste of the dish. You can randomly see some Thai waiter or they are inside the kitchen. I had been to the bedok branch once and it is always long queue during dinner hours. I am very relieved that they opened a new branch at Yishun which was quite near my house. I already been there twice and tried the following dishes: Olive fried rice, pineapple rice, fried vermicelli, honey chicken, tom yum soup, sweet and spicy fish, prawn cake ( chef recommendation), chicken with basil and my favourite Thai iced milk tea. I really enjoyed each time I am at nakhon kitchen. One of my favourite Thai restaurant. Recommended.

Chir Chir Korean Fried Chicken @ 313 Somerset

One of the popular Korean fried chicken in town, Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory. Currently there is a new outlet at Bedok point which opened not long ago, another outlet in town at 313 Somerset basement 3. The korean fried chicken craze in Singapore has many Korean restaurant such as chicken up, bonchon chicken and 4 finger opened just selling fried chicken and beer. I will try all of them and blog later. There is super long queue spotted outside the restaurant during dinner peak hours. So please be there early to avoid disappointment. We ordered mac and cheese and cheese fries for starters, followed by nest snow (strips of chicken tender in cheese base sauce) which is their signature, the different flavour ( spicy, garlic and original) of fried chicken. As for the drinks, we had beer with cream, cocktails, fruit infused tea and makgeolli. We loved their chicken, very crispy and flavourful and there were some sweet potato and topokki inside. As for the drinks, we felt is nice but the price might be a bit steep. Overall, Chir Chir chicken is worth returning. Note: Sometime Groupon is selling Chir Chir voucher. Please get them if possible.
