Delicate French food at Joo chiat

Bonjour! I am hereby to recommend this french food located at joo chiat area. Its actual location is right at the corner inside the ali baba eating house, opposite the new katong mall or in front of awfully chocolate shop. I heard this place by liqi so I decided to give it a try myself. Had a hard time locating the place at first so decided to park my car and started to topo my way using my GPS. Finally, I reach the kopitiam. We ordered foie gras, duck confit and salmon. The food was served promptly and you will only pay at the end of your meals at the counter. To enjoy french food at such low price is very rare, furthermore it is tasty. Definitely, you must give it a try. I will be back for other dishes. After the dinner, we had our dessert and JOO JOO. JOO JOO is a place consist of three different restaurants (awfully chocolate, mooshi bakes and a Japanese skewer) We had an ice cream and butterscotch cake from awfully chocolate and a cream puff from mooshi bakes. A perfect evening with great food and dessert and the right companion!
Foie gras 30g $7.50
Duck confit (mash potato, mushroom, tender duck meat and mandarin orange) $8.90

Afternoon tea @ TWG (Marina Bay sand)

How I wish I could do this every day...... Enjoying my life having an afternoon tea session with xueting and June BB at TWG. We went to marina bay sand to celebrate xueting birthday and satisfy my cravings too. I ordered a sandwiches set and a ice tea with fruit juice. Very unique taste and very refreshing. worth a try. As for both ladies, they ordered 2 afternoon tea sets which consist of sandwich, tea and desert. The ambience's is fantastic and the crew is excellent with their service. Must definitely try their hot pot tea as the tea fragrance is very strong. Had a great afternoon spending time with them and enjoy good food. However, the price is abit steep. So sacrifice your pocket in order to enjoy this lovely afternoon at TWG. Haha!

dinner at momiji buffet

Last thursday, June BB and me went to momiji @ city square mall for a dinner buffet. It was located at farrer park mrt station. (purple line) It was a voucher bought from G market and each person cost $15. It was a sweet deal. The concept is quite similar to sakura international buffet. There are plenty of variety of foods to choose from. Sashimi (salmon, tuna, prawn, mussel and scallop), appetiser, cooked food, sushi, tempura and dessert, drinks and etc. I love the sushi variety although when you are on a buffet, you are suppose not to eat too many sushi which will make you full easily. The salmon was fresh and the appetisers in the cute squarish bowl were nice except the cha soba. The cooked food were slow and the the taste is average. I did not try the tempura as I need to save some space for my dessert. The mochi was very chewy and the jelly was awesome. Afterall, it is a good place to hangout for a weeday dinner as you can have a variety of japanses food at affordable price. I will not recommend for a weekend dinner as the price is a bit high and definitely it is going to be long queue for the cooked food. I can say 我赚到了 as i spent $15 to try so many different kind of japanese food. haha. Look out for more deals at http://www.deal.com.sg/ or big deal or groupon. Sometime, there are a lot of good deals.
