My second year in a row to Bangkok again. I wish I can go Bangkok every year, definitely going to be my yearly never to be missed holiday destination. Together with my best best friend and my lovely wife as companion, is fun and one word to describe the whole trip "shiok". Immediately touch down from the airport, we went straight to hotel. The train was quite packed even though is not peak hours. Nevertheless, we manage to reach our hotel within an hour. This time round, I stay near to nana BTS.
First stop: Dinner at china town. We went to opposite T&K seafood, another red colour signboard restaurant. We ordered seafood fried rice, Kang kong, prawn roll, cockles, omelette oyster egg, steamed fish, grilled prawn and tom yum soup. Best: their fried rice super nice! smell good and taste good. Other dishes were pretty decent as well. Nice and cheap dinner. We go along the stretch of road and tried their wonton noodle, portion was small but the noodle was Q and char siew was nice. We tried the toast bread again but this time round is not as good compare to last year we had. Maybe change chef already. no idea.
Next day, went to platinum mall for shopping and pratunam market (no need to go as the place is hot and the price of the clothes is not cheap either compare to platinum mall). Had our lunch at platinum food court. Cheap and nice. Ordered a lot of food to share and later continue to shop again. went to central world walk around and had our dinner at one of the thai restaurant. The food was good but the portion was small so as the table. We had to finish our food fast enough to have space for new food. Bought the cheesecake and pudding for supper. Next day, shopping again and we had a lunch buffet at MBK center. It was a japanese sushi plus steamboat. It was cheap and the food was average. There were different type of sushi, free flow of drinks and assorted ingredients for steamboat. So full after the lunch. We walk around MBK and next we went to ASIATIQUE (warehouse pattern shopping centre). Need to board a cruise to the place. It opened from 5pm. Had our dinner in the foodcourt. The place was warm and no air con unless for some of the shop. If you are planning to go there, please wear light clothing. A nice shopping place in the evening.

This trip, we went to daemon floating market. Yeah finally went to the floating market. An eye-opener for me definitely. Although there were a lot of boat in the small river, but they can still make their way round the river and sell souvenir and food for tourists. Admire them. We did not get anything as it was crowded so next time I will come back again for their food. On the last day, a shopping place that cannot be missed, that is Chatuchak market. The iconic coconut ice cream and we find out a drink store which sell good refreshing drink. Many thing to buy and many food to try over there. Must go! One more thing to share, there is a magnum cafe at siam square. Give it a try and you will feel happy after eating ice cream created by you.
