Spring Kyushu Fair @ Tampines mall

A few weeks ago, there was a japan fair at Tampines Mall. It attracted a lot of people. Most of the people are here for the japanese foods and finger foods as well including me. I came across magazine so I am aware of it. I went there on good friday during dinner time. I already plan to try their ramen, takoyaki and swiss roll. After we park our car, we quickly make our way up and secure a small standing table. I ordered 2 bowl of ramen, one is the black char siew ramen and the other one spicy char siew ramen. After we finished eating the ramen, there were long queue near the takoyaki counter. I decided to pack some food home for my family to try the food. We bought 2 box of takoyaki, 1 box of mixed deep fried small crab, squid and prawn. Another one is the pancake roll and cooked squid. Lastly will be the delicious swiss roll. It is soft and sweetness is just nice. It is good to try the food in the fair as it is very nice. Hoping for the next fair.

Lawry Prime rib @Mandarin gallery

Lawry prime rib serves one of the finest beef steak in singapore. Although it is located inside mandarin gallery,    the price is still quite reasonable for the ambience and food. Once a while, they do have 1 for 1 main course offer that where you should pamper yourself to a succulent and tasty steak. I have been there twice both on special occasion. You will be served with bread and salad prior to the main course. The salad is their signature, spinning bowl salad. The waitress will do it right in front of you and the salad taste equally good. Roasted beef is a must order with mashed potato and spinach. Super nice and juicy beef! They do have seafood as main course for non beef lover. Expect to have a small hole in your pocket after the meal haha!

Crab session @ Mellben AMK

I am going to recommend this restaurant for crab lovers. Mellben Seafood restaurant @ Ang Mo Kio. They serve fantastic crab dishes and the queue is always so long during weekend wherea weekday reservation is allowed. I have been there four times. My all time favourite will be the claypot crab with bee hoon and buttery crab with man tou. They serve other dishes such as kang kong with belachan or fried tofu as well but most of the people go there for their crabs. If you are crab lover, this is the place you cannot miss.

Ice Cream chef

This Ice cream shop is very special. It can mix in a lot of different kind of topping to your ice cream. The person will mix in the topping with your ice cream. The ice cream flavour is not too bad as well so do give it a try if you are nearby any outlets after dinner.

Restaurant week @ The Line Shang ri la hotel

This is the second restaurant I went during the restaurant week. Although this is my second time to THE LINE but I still cannot eat at every section as the selection is too overwhelming for my stomach. The selection is a lot which include: Appetiser, cold seafood, sushi and sashimi, roasted meat, pizza, indian food, chinese food and dessert and their signature teh tarik drink. We were being ushered to our seats but is a bit of warm so is not very comfortable throughout. We started with the appetisers which is good and a lot of variety. Next, I had a dozen of oysters (fresh!), crabs, prawns scallops and mussels followed by a few plate of sashimi (salmon and tuna) and sushi. After I try the satay (nice!) roast beef and chicken, surprisingly I am a bit full already. In order to fulfil a perfect meal, desserts is a must so I decided to go for their dessert right away. Cakes, crepe and some tart fill up my stomach immediately. I cannot eat anymore. Full! I will try again next time as I want to cover other sections as well. Definitely a good place to dine in as the variety of food is a lot and good.
