Bangkok Trip 2012

My first time going bangkok and this trip is full of fun and new experiences to me. Furthermore, I tried scoot airline which is also new to the public. Let me go through the photo one by one. Let go.....

I had a Ben and Jerry ice cream during my flight  to Bangkok. Enjoy!
My hotel near to Asoke Station BTS
Our dinner on the first night at T & K Seafood located in the chinatown in Bangkok. The place is packed with a lot of people. We ordered about 10 plus dishes which include BBQ prawns, fish maw soup, omelette egg, 2 type of fried rice, vegetables, fried calamari, fried prawn paste, steamed fish, tom yum soup and cockles. It cost each of us approximately 12 bucks for the dinner. Cheap and nice!!

After the dinner, I ate one bowl of bird nest. It cost me around 300 thai baht. So nourishing!

This store along the chinatown street were selling bread stuff
with fillings like Kaya and etc. Cheap and nice

One of the largest shopping centre in BKK
After shopping, we were having lunch at the foodcourt in platinum shopping mall. Plenty of food variety. We ordered shark fin soup, Vietnamese spring roll, satay, phad thai and mango sticky rice.  After lunch, shop again!

MBK is another huge shopping centre in BKK. We went Siam paragon for our dinner. Siam Paragon is similar to our paragon in singapore, branded, but they are much much more large than us. The restaurant were packed with a lot of people. We waited around 20mins before we get our seats. We ordered coconut juice, steamed crab, fried fish, green curry, prawn paste and fried rice. The dinner was good especially the fish. It cost us around 15bucks. Cheap again. Delighted!

We went Chaptuchak market on a bright sunday morning.  It was another really BIG lookalike bugis street but more than 10 times bigger looking at the map (below).
The bbq lok lok is cheap and good.  Can buy a lot and eat while shopping.

The famous coconut icecream with toppings. Good!

fried octopus egg. Tasty
The original coconut icecream!

We had our lunch at one of the shop inside Chatupchak market.
We had some fried chicken, pork with basil, mango salad, vermicelli and soup.

Macaron from the basement shop.

Another macaron shop in Siam paragon

We had our dinner at terminal 21 shopping centre.
There were kway chap, tom yum soup, green curry fried rice, fish maw soup,
desserts and fruit juices. The food is so economical.

We had our breakfast at Dean and Deluca. The place is very posh.
Look at the huge door at the entrance. It is a cafe serving breakfast and bread.
Thumb up for the almond croissant. Brilliantly good.

We ordered some cakes, 2 sandwiches, wing and truffle fries to share.
I love the atmosphere dining there.
Although the price is expensive, once awhile I feel is alright.
Excellent breakfast!
A & W for lunch
Went back T & K seafood for dinner again. Ordered clams and cockles,
prawns and crabs and fried rice and grilled octopus.

On our final day, went to healthland spa for massage.
It was a relaxing and refreshing massage.

Last I have to say BKK is definitely a good place to shop, eat and massage.
