A few weeks back, Jay Chou come to Singapore, part of the world tour, to hold a 3 days concert. I am so excited that I am able to get the tickets. Been wanting to watch his concert all along, this time round I shall not missed it. We bought the official light stick and together with the given pink light stick, there were too many things to on my hand. The concert finally started. Wave of pink light stick filled the indoor stadium. We stand throughout the whole concert with some intermittent rest. His live performance was outstanding. The songs brought back a lot of memories during my school days and some of the new songs were good. I totally enjoyed the whole concert and sing along with the rhythm. Hope he will come again and I will be there again.

Carousel @ Royal Plaza on scott
Another farewell makan for my colleague. This time round, we went to carousel for high tea buffet. The buffet spread was good, ranging from my favourite japanese sashimi and sushi, assorted bread, chinese style food, international food and lastly the tempting dessert. The sashimi was good and fresh. Something to highlight, there is a bread which taste super good which I had 2 servings. Must try! The carrot cake and oyster omelette were average. Another thing to highlight will be their bread pudding. soft and creamy. Nice!
A good option for wide buffet spread for high tea on a weekend in town area.
Prive @ Keppel Bay
天下无不散之宴席. That what always happen in this world. My good superior quit and pursue her dreams to be her boss herself. Admire her attitude and dare to dream big. When will be my turn to dream? not now. Organised a dinner for her out of the hectic and compromise schedule. Decided on this restaurant Prive at Keppel Bay. Nice place with a lot of Yacht. Good place to take picture with sunset in the background. We ordered some appetiser to start with. The calamari and mushroom bite were good but not the chicken wing. Next will be the main course. We ordered lamb shank, wagyu beef burger, crispy skin salmon, steak and pasta. All the main course were pretty decent except the steak was not as good. The ambience of the place was definitely great and we enjoyed ourself throughout the meal. Will go again to try other food in the menu.

Straits Cafe @ Rendezvous hotel
Last month, I bought a voucher from deal for a dinner buffer at Straits Cafe in Rendezvous hotel. It was rather cheap after the discount so give it a try. The buffet spread was normal. One thing I do not like is the limitation of 4 oyster for each diner per queue. It was a bit annoying as you will need to re-queue if you are an oyster fan. There were only salmon and tako sashimi. There were snow crab too. Yummy. There is a few dish from the chinese section I will like to recommend is the Gong Gong and the mussels. gong gong seldom appear in buffet spread but it was fun digging out the meat from the shell. Achievement met after upon each successful dugout. There was one station which was the self-made kueh pie tee. I love it as you can creatively choose the ingredients you love and put it into the crispy cup. Lastly will be the durain cake and puff for dessert. I definitely had a full dinner and I feel it is worth it for the discounted price.
