Anti:Dote @ Fairmont Hotel

This post will be an relaxing afternoon tea at Anti:dote at Fairmont hotel. The seating was from 3 to 5 pm. It had 2 choices of afternoon tea set: The anti:dote tea and oriental tea. The anti:dote tea come with a black truffle scrambled eggs and the latter come with a mixed steamed and fried Hong Kong dim sum. We had one type each so we can enjoy both. The tea was from TWG and there were around 10 to choose from. Here come the black truffle scrambled egg with 2 bread sticks. The truffle taste was just nice and we finish it with seconds. Next, the dim sum were carrot cake, siew mai and seafood roll. I personally prefer the Hong Kong dim sum than truffle egg. The main highlight was the high tea drawer set. I am sure all high tea lover will be thrilled by the design and the presentation. The first drawer consists of smoked salmon and ikura roe sandwich, boston lobster roll, iberico ham quiche, confit duck rillette and chicken tikka. On top of the drawer, my favourite lychee macaron, cheese cake, chocolate pralines, chocolate coated strawberry and some other pastries. There were scones in the second drawer and butter cookies for takeaway in the third drawer. Overall, it has a nice ambience and the food is good. Recommend!
