Lime @ Park Royal Pickering

The festive period is here again and is time to enjoy and indulge. I went to Park Royal hotel the Pickering, Lime, for a long lunch buffet. The festive menu consist of International and Peranakan cuisine buffet. Let me bring you through what are the different stations: Cold sashimi (salmon, tuna, ika, smoked salmon, yellowtail and smoked snowfish) and sushi maki. Seafood on the rock: Oysters, poached prawns, scallops, mud crabs and mussels. As for the cooked food, they have malay and indian cuisine (satays and roti prata), chinese dim sum (steamed xiao long bao dumplings and fried char siew shu). Live and DIY station includes: lobster egg benedict and foie gras. Local delights: char kuay teow, hor fun and bee hoon. Kueh Pie Tee and Rojak DIY. There are Spaghetti as well. Roast meat section includes beef, lamb, roast duck, honey ham and turkey. There are variety of cheese and crackers and different type of salad and dressing section which I always does not fancy much. Lastly we come to the dessert section. They have plenty of dessert to choose with cakes, mousse, durian pengat, creme brulee, bread pudding, nonya kueh and many more. They also have a chocolate and orange fondue for fruits and marsh mallow lovers. With the good quality of food and some really nice live station and plenty of food variety except for seafood choice, the price of $78++ is quite decent. Recommend to visit as it has long dining hours and reservation during festive period is encouraged.
