Day 6 at Taipei (钱柜 and 通化夜市)

Last day at Taipei, we went to 钱柜 for a round of KTV session (NT 700 for 5 hour / 2 person). Before that, we packed food from 永和豆浆 like 蛋饼 and 豆浆. After that, we have our tea at 维记茶餐厅. We ordered toast, tea and 波蘿油. The food is not bad. Again, we roam around Ximending to get some food souvenirs such as 老天禄卤味 packet size ginger tea, dried mango (very nice must buy from this shop called 芒果哥哥). In the early evening, we went to 华西街夜市. Basically, nothing much there. A lot of shop selling snake meat and rare animal meat so nothing interest us and we move to our next stop. We went Pablo to get our dessert fix. The cheese cake is very nice and I will revisit again if I am back in Taipei. Move on from here, we went to 通化夜市. Over there, we tried the 红花盐水鸡, 火焰牛肉 and 九龙城香港茶. The food was nice so next time can go back this 夜市 again. I love my taiwan trip as I visit new places again and tried new food. I will always get some pineapple tarts from Chia Te ( nanjing sanmin station exit 2 walk straight reach at 10am preferably) or 李義 (Taipei main station mrt Z3 and Z6 exit) or 犁记. Visit 诚品 to get some book and shop around there and get stay real T-shirt (xing guang san yue A11 at taipei city hall station spend above NT 2000 can get tax refund 5%) or porter international bag as is cheaper in Taiwan. 

Day 5 at Taipei (乌来 and 12蓝 )

Day 5 at Taipei was a rainy day. After having our breakfast at hotel, we shop around Ximending and have the famous 阿宗面线. It is a must have for those first time in Taipei. Always full of tourist eating outside the shop and sometimes might have long queues.  

After which, we make our way to Xindian station. We are going to 乌来泡汤. When we reached the station, we took a bus 849 and wulai is the last stop so you can enjoy the scenery on the bus. You can asked the train station staff where to take a bus to wulai, they will be glad to guide you. After we reached, we walk around taking pictures. Very beautiful place. Then, we head to our 泡汤屋 at 汤布苑. The room is decent and inside the tub, there was a tv on the wall where you can enjoy while 泡汤. They served ginger tea and mochi after that. So we left and went to the wulai waterfall to take some pictures and it started to rain. After the rain stop, we went to the wulai street to try the 山猪香肠, 温泉蛋, 包子, 梅子汁. We wanted to try 龙须菜 and 槟榔花 which we had it for the last trip so we walk along the street and saw this shop 阿春美食 which they display outside so went in for this 2 dishes and ordered another 竹筒饭 to share. Nice. Both vegetables still taste as good. I like. 

After that, we went to taipei city hall area to shop and went on for our dinner at 12蓝. We saw this at one the taiwan entertainment show and decided to try it this time round. It was located at near to Taipei City hall mrt station. A few minutes walk. We choose a seafood with meat platter. There is a variety of seafood and beef. The staff will help you to cook everything and put on the plate so do not have to worry on the food whether is overcooked or undercooked. Overall, the food is very fresh and nice. Can try.
