My first time dining at sushi tei

My first time dining at sushi tei was indeed a wonderful dining experience for me. Although the price is a bit steep, but overall the food is nice and fresh. We went to the outlet at holland village. one information for everyone first time going there, no reservation is allowed only walk in. Do go early to avoid long queues during dinner period. It was a colleague birthday celebration. We ordered a wide range of japanese food from the menu like Chawamushi, salmon sashimi, sashimi salad, hand-roll, variety of sushi, salmon mentai, fried octopus and shishamo. A full dinner after the meal. Recommend everyone to give it a try if you have a bit more of money to spend. website: http://sushitei.com/

Universal studio 2012

Had a wonderful day at the universal studio at RWS (Resort World Sentosa). I wanted to say Singapore places of interest is so much better and more compared to last time. It was a gathering of best friends from my ex-company. I missed the time whenever we gathered. Fun! Had breakfast at Seah Im hawker centre, after everyone reached, we took tram in. There were a lot of people queueing outside the entrance. The ride sequence were Transformer, galactica human and cyclon and mummy ride. Heart thumping and mind blowing ride! The most exciting ride is cyclon. A lot of fast turn and twist and overhead hanging. At first, before I went, never will I thought I will complete the ride. In the end, I sat thrice. Haha! ADDICTED. There were other rides such as the Shrek 4D movie (nice), madagascar ride (abit boring), jurassic park ride (might get wet), water world entertaining show and a few children ride. We played for the whole day and it was tiring yet fun. Please go to universal studio if you have the time, definitely one of the places for family and friends.

Delicacies at old airport road

This post is to introduce some of the food stalls in old airport road hawker centre. It had more than 100 over stalls selling all kind of food ranging from breakfast till supper. Long queues were sometime spotted outside some of the stalls. So let me introduce some of the stalls:
1) Lor mee.
I spent around 45mins queueing for the Lor mee. Indeed it is worth the wait, the gravy taste great and the fish used were fresh. Fyi, there is other lor mee stall behind the hawker centre. I shall try next time.
2)  老伴豆花
The dou hua craze is still around in Singapore. Young and old people carrying plastic bag imprinted 老伴豆花. The texture taste more like pudding compared to traditional beancurd. I believe that is the reason why nowadays it is so famous. There is another stall named 51 dou hua. Texture and taste not bad too. If you are tired of queueing for lao ban dou hua, can try the 51 dou hua, no queue one.
3) Fried Hokkien Mee
This Fried Hokkien mee stall always close early and always sold out so frequently. Finally I got my chance to eat it. It take around 30 mins. The fragrance of the hokkien mee is nice when you start to stir the plate of hokkien mee. The taste of the hokkien mee is good too. Never be too late for the stall if not ended up with nothing.
4) Dorigo kwap chap
This is a famous kwap chap stall located at the back of the hawker centre. It serve good kwap chap, fresh internal organ such as intestines, stomach and skins. Sometime queues were spotted too. Be there early to avoid disappointment.
5) Toa Payoh Rojak
Always long queues spotted for this famous Rojak.
There are still many stalls inside this hawker centre which is nice and good. I shall try them next time when I visit it.

Bak Ku Teh @ balestier road

This post is to introduce the all time famous Bak Ku Teh shop located at Balestier road. 发起人肉骨茶. I went for dinner during one of the weekday and upon reaching the shop, many photo of celebrities were pasted on the wall of the shop. Indeed, this Bak Ku Teh shop is very famous! We ordered 2 bowls of Bak Ku Teh, Tau pok, beancurd skin and you zhar gui. The soup is a bit spicy to my taste bud, as for the meat is very tender and soft. While eating, we were looking through the photo to see which other celebrities had patronize one of the favourite food in Singapore.  Bak Ku Teh lover, this is the shop you cannot afford to miss. Highly recommend!

Kim Family @ Lorong Kilat

Went to a korean restaurant located at Lorong Kilat near bukit timah road (near to beauty world shopping centre). It served unlimited side dishes such as kimchi, ikan bilis, sausages, cucumbers and many more. We ordered 2 types of pancakes, 2 bibimbap, ginseng chicken soup and bbq meat and seafood hot pot soup. The food taste good and served promptly. The restaurant is opened by koreans and the decoration is full of korean feel too. The price is economical. Give it a try if you are nearby beauty world centre or has crave for korean food.
