There is a not so new Italian restaurant along Sembawang road near to Chong Pang nasi lemak. It was located at a corner and the name is O Sole Mio. The decoration was simple having a open style kitchen and a brick style wallpaper. There are around 1 chef, 2 kitchen helper and 2 waiter and waitress on a weekday night and were very friendly. We ordered an appetisers which was some crab meat mixed stuff. It was very awesome but there were only four pieces. My main was Gnocchi with mushroom and spinach in cream sauce whereas June was having seafood ravioli in tomato sauce. I love my mains as the creaminess sauce together with the Gnocchi was so perfect. I am fond of Gnocchi after I am introduced to it. As for the ravioli, the size was just nice and the seafood filling was fantastic and the seafood was fresh. As for the dessert, it was the classic tiramisu cake. The serving was big and the taste was nice. Overall, the price is around the same compare to town except there is no gst charged. Give it a try if you stay around the north area as the food is really good and there are promotion during weekdays so do not miss it.
