Miscellaneous food

Is time to post some food I had for the past few weeks. The first one is Kraze Burger located at MBS shoppes (basement 1).
After I collected the marathon race pack, I went for my dinner alone. It was fully packed with people even though is already going to be 9pm. The reason I am there is because I had bought a coupon from http://www.deal.com.sg/. The Food was considerably good, but I do not like their service. One example is even there is customer waiting for seats yet no one attend to them (staff shortage) and the billing time take awhile.

Orange Juice

Beef Burger with fries

Second one is Everything with fries. I like the burger and the fries and I recommend people to give it a try.

Sour onion fries

Curry fries

The third one is Coco curry house at basement of 313 somerset. Personally curry rice is my favourite. As this is quite a new restaurant at 313, so decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed with the curry rice afterall. Do give it a try if you happen to pass by 313@somerset.

SNSD Concert 2011 in singapore indoor stadium

Two weeks ago, there were long queue spotted outside indoor stadium and guess who is coming to singapore. It was the current most popular and hottest girl group SNSD (Girl Generation/ 소녀시대; Sonyeo Shidae) They were here to perform their first solo concert in singapore. To be honest, the concert tickets were selling super fast online but I had one after so many attempts trying to purchase the ticket online. It was my first korean concert. Although I cannot understand what are they singing, but I love listening to korean pop and SNSD is one of my favourite. Apart from them, I like Super Junior, 2NE1, 2pm and T-ara. There are also other groups which I know of, they are Big Bang, Miss A, wonder girls, 4 minutes, TVXQ and after school.
On the concert day, I bought a pink-coloured lightstick and brought a whistle fully prepared to rock the whole night with SNSD. The concert lasted around 3.5 hours and I can tell you it is definitely worth it (right? to those who went for the concert). They have some excellent individual performance (go youtube and see) and I can see them quite close up in person when some of the members walk to the side of the stage so excited and imagine I shouted their names (I think I am crazy! haha). The only bad thing is no photo taking is allowed (Haiz). Actually I only know around 10 SNSD popular songs ( Genie, Gee, Oh (my favourite), run devil run, Mr Taxi, bad girl, hoot, The boys (latest), cabi song (duet with 2pm) and You-alcolic. Too bad, next year super junior is coming to singapore but I already going to cruise. Korean craze is everywhere!!

My second marathon for 2011

X'mas is round the corner. holiday and festive mood. a few weeks ago, I completed my second marathon (standard charterted). It was another 8.5 hours of jogging plus walking (walk for 20 over km). It was an endurance test for me (Sun was super hot on that day) but I manage to complete with my determination. It was a good experience for me as it was so much different compare to sundown (only difference was the sun but sun was a major factor). So proud of myself after crossing the finishing line. Haha. I want to complete another 8 marathon to make it a perfect 10 apart from other misclleanous run like nike run and 2XU run (a new run for 2012).

Delicate French food at Joo chiat

Bonjour! I am hereby to recommend this french food located at joo chiat area. Its actual location is right at the corner inside the ali baba eating house, opposite the new katong mall or in front of awfully chocolate shop. I heard this place by liqi so I decided to give it a try myself. Had a hard time locating the place at first so decided to park my car and started to topo my way using my GPS. Finally, I reach the kopitiam. We ordered foie gras, duck confit and salmon. The food was served promptly and you will only pay at the end of your meals at the counter. To enjoy french food at such low price is very rare, furthermore it is tasty. Definitely, you must give it a try. I will be back for other dishes. After the dinner, we had our dessert and JOO JOO. JOO JOO is a place consist of three different restaurants (awfully chocolate, mooshi bakes and a Japanese skewer) We had an ice cream and butterscotch cake from awfully chocolate and a cream puff from mooshi bakes. A perfect evening with great food and dessert and the right companion!
Foie gras 30g $7.50
Duck confit (mash potato, mushroom, tender duck meat and mandarin orange) $8.90

Afternoon tea @ TWG (Marina Bay sand)

How I wish I could do this every day...... Enjoying my life having an afternoon tea session with xueting and June BB at TWG. We went to marina bay sand to celebrate xueting birthday and satisfy my cravings too. I ordered a sandwiches set and a ice tea with fruit juice. Very unique taste and very refreshing. worth a try. As for both ladies, they ordered 2 afternoon tea sets which consist of sandwich, tea and desert. The ambience's is fantastic and the crew is excellent with their service. Must definitely try their hot pot tea as the tea fragrance is very strong. Had a great afternoon spending time with them and enjoy good food. However, the price is abit steep. So sacrifice your pocket in order to enjoy this lovely afternoon at TWG. Haha!
